FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Who can request writing help?
Neurodivergent writers of different ages and experience levels are welcome. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis.
What can I submit?
You may share academic or creative writing, including an assignment prompt, notes, outline, partial draft, or complete draft.
What kind of feedback will I receive?
Tell us what you need help with. We may suggest a next step, answer a question, recommend a guide, or comment on organization and clarity. We will not complete an assignment for you.
Is writing help free?
We do not currently charge for writing help. The Hub is volunteer-led, so availability and response times may vary.
Do I keep ownership of my writing?
Yes. Sending us a document does not transfer ownership. Only submit work that is yours or that you have permission to share.
How is my document handled?
An upload is temporarily stored on the website server, emailed to two team members, and removed from the server after the delivery attempt. See the Privacy page for details.
Can a parent, teacher, or counselor contact you?
Yes. They can use the general contact form. We will not discuss another writer’s submission without an appropriate reason and permission.
Can I volunteer or contribute a guide?
Yes. Visit Get Involved to propose a resource, offer a skill, or contact us about a partnership.
Can I donate?
Not yet. Donations are coming soon. In the meantime, visit Get Involved to contribute a resource, volunteer a skill, or discuss a partnership.
Is this tutoring or an accommodation?
This is educational writing support. It is not medical care, therapy, legal advice, crisis care, or a formal school accommodation.
